This catalogue reviews Moore’s drawings and sculptures from Chicago collections presented by The Renaissance Society in collaboration with the 1967 unveiling of “Nuclear Energy,” the monumental bronze sculpture created by Henry Moore for the University of Chicago to commemorate the first nuclear chain reaction. It contains a short text of some thoughts by Moore himself on his practice and sculpture in general.
